Making Payment

We prefer to receive payment upfront through our website, which helps us keep prices competitive. Our accepted payment methods include PayPal and credit/debit cards, and our site is secured by GlobalSign. Paying online allows your order to be processed faster so we can start working on it immediately. Payment must be made, at the latest, before 3:30pm on the day your order is scheduled for dispatch.

What payment options do we accept?

We accept most major debit and credit cards:

Please note that we do not accept American Express.

Alternatively, we can process secure payments over the phone from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Payment by Bank Transfer and BACS

Please quote your job reference number on bank or BACS remittances and allow time for the funds to clear before we dispatch you goods.

Is my online payment secure?

For your security, all online payments are processed through PayPal, one of the safest payment platforms worldwide. To protect your card information, we do not handle your payments directly. We cannot see or record your financial details, as all such information—like bank account and credit card numbers—is securely encrypted and stored on PayPal's servers.
Do you need a PayPal account to pay? No, you don't! Just enter your debit or credit card details and proceed with your purchase from A Local Printer.

What about VAT?

If your product is subject to VAT, it will be automatically added to the cart so you can see your total payment. Some items, like leaflets and flyers, are exempt from VAT. However, if we determine your product is liable for VAT, we will contact you to collect that amount. If VAT is applicable, you will receive a VAT invoice when your order is dispatched.

Delivery outside of the UK (including Republic of Ireland)

VAT is due on all vatable items UNLESS you are registered for VAT in your member state and can provide that VAT number.  If you are not VAT registered then VAT is applied. Please see more information on the HMRC Website.

Do you offer credit accounts?
