With our online ordering options you can create your school exercise books by selecting the size of the books, the number of pages and the protective finish you need on the covers. With a range of the most commonly used lines and squared text pages to select we have most text requirements covered – but just in case, we can design and print any text that you require and don’t see here.
These books are custom printed with your own design colour covers and single colour text.

Build Your Order - Start by choosing:
To produce your school books we need to know how many different subjects and how many different texts . You will place your order based upon grouped common texts. For example, A4 books of 64 pages and 3 subjects, i.e. English, Science, Geography with 8mm lines will become an order of 3 subject covers and 8mm lines.
a) Select the number of cover subjects for all books that have the same common printed text.
b) Select the common text size/style for those subjects
For books of the same size and number of pages but different texts place those orders separately.
For example:-
Order 1, A4, 64 pages and 2 different covers ie English and Science with 8mm lines.
Order 2, A4, 64 pages Geography with 15mm lines.
Order 3, A4 80 pages Maths with 10mm squares.

Our colour printed school books are custom printed with vibrant full colour covers. Your school - your design! The covers can be whatever you want them to be - and if you don't have any designs we can work with you to get those exactly how you want them.
With our online ordering you 'build' your order by selecting from our range of options - and if they don't cover all your requirements or it's all a bit too long winded we're only a call or email away to get the ball rolling.
Our goal is to provide you with custom printed school books that are not only an essential tool in the teaching/learning armoury, but also robust enough to last until the final page is filled. At TSP we use a special bindery system called squared spine which is designed for books that have a lot of text pages. Similar visually to perfect binding. the key element is that we add three staples to the book spine - all the better to handle any rough treatment!
Lamination is the process of adding a protective layer to the covers. It helps to keep the books in good condition and extend their life through the wear and tear of being used and transported during a busy school day. At The School Printer we only use eco-laminate that is made from wood pulp, thereby creating a school book that meets our own eco values and enables you to promote your own environmental ethos in a meaningful way.

Building you order online can be quite complicated - with all the information that we need for a comprehensive order it's enough to give you a headache! Download our silk covers enquiry form and complete the boxes for book size, number of pages etc. Our example order form is also a guide as to what information we need for a bespoke quote.
Silk art is a smooth coated board that has a slight sheen. It loves to be printed digitally and the colours are bright and vibrant. 300gsm is the weight of the board - essentially it is a thick board which gives it a longer life span.
When you reach the end of the order process you will receive an on screen prompt asking you to upload your artwork. You can upload their and then, or send it to us separately via email or download link.
