Using a different coloured margin in school exercise books helps students organise their work more clearly and consistently. The contrasting margin line establishes a distinct visual boundary that promotes neat formatting, ensures proper spacing, and helps students structure elements such as headings and numbering, whilst also enabling teachers to quickly identify key notes or feedback. Most commonly used is a magenta margin, although cyan blue can also be used.

Build Your Order - Start by choosing:
To produce your school books we need to know how many different subjects and how many different texts . You will place your order based upon grouped common texts.
For example, A4 books of 64 pages and 2 subjects, i.e. English, Phonics with 8mm yellow tramlines lines, will become an order of 2 subject covers and 8mm lines.
a) Select the number of cover subjects for all books that have the same common printed text.
b) Select the common text size/style for those subjects
For books of the same size and number of pages but different texts place those orders separately.
For example:-
Order 1, A4, 64 pages and 2 different covers ie English and Phonics with 8mm yellow tramlines.
Order 2, A4, 64 pages Handwriting with 15mm yellow tramlines.
Order 3, A4 80 pages English with 12mm yellow tramlines.

Our school books are made with heavyweight card for the covers, which can have an additional layer of protection added by opting to add lamination to one or both sides. With the text pages printed on 90gsm white paper, thicker than most, our school books ensure no show-through and are durable enough to withstand even the heaviest of hands!
