Most of our website products are printed on a limited selection of recycled and coated papers. These papers are Green Star rated with 4 and 5 stars and are carbon offset. Using carbon offset paper allows us to quickly and affordably reduce our company's carbon footprint while supporting vital woodland regeneration projects that might not otherwise occur.

Carbon balancing involves estimating the carbon footprint of a product or service and then preventing or absorbing an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide from entering or leaving the atmosphere. For paper, this means calculating the carbon emissions from its production and transportation, then offsetting these emissions by planting new trees or purchasing land to conserve existing woodland. The necessary amount of offsetting is determined by the World Land Trust, a global conservation organisation.
By using our paper merchants, each tonne of carbon offset paper bought results in an equivalent tonne of CO₂ being captured in new UK woodlands, certified under the government’s Woodland Carbon Code. Essentially, we pay a little extra for the paper, and that additional cost helps fund the planting of new woodlands that offset the carbon emissions generated during paper production. Our paper merchants also collaborate with charities focused on creating carbon woodland projects under the framework of the government’s Woodland Carbon Code.
Hopefully, carbon offsetting will become a standard practice soon. Until then, you can be confident that the silk and recycled paper products purchased from our website have balanced carbon impacts.

Delivering your goods sustainably is as important to us as using eco-friendly paper and printing.
We partner with nationwide courier DHL, which is committed to carbon neutrality for every delivery. They implement various measured initiatives and efficiencies to reduce CO2 emissions, and any remaining emissions are offset with carbon credits. These credits support renewable and cleaner energy projects, managed by Ecoact, a European leader In carbon offsetting.
DHL is at the forefront of low-carbon deliveries. With their Total Zero commitment, which includes substantial carbon reductions and the use of carbon credits, we are confident that our deliveries to you are made without a carbon footprint.
