WHAT DOES PP MEAN? The term PP means printed pages or sides - so a 12pp A4 Brochure is 12 pages of A4 where the front cover is page 1 and the reverse of the back cover is page 12.
Your brochure must have a number of pages which are divisible by four, so 12 page, 20 page etc - no 13 or 19 pages! Each booklet is finished with two staples, sometimes called stitched, which holds all the pages together very securely.
PLEASE NOTE: You will receive notification that you have proofs to be approved in your account which you MUST approve before we print! Dispatched within 14 days from proof approval.

Brochures can serve a whole range of purposes beyond just student recruitment, acting more like flexible storytelling tools tailored to different audiences. Our brochures come in a range of orientation and sizes, perfect for you to get your story out.

Colour sells, and candid pictures of your school and the events or services you are promoting will go most of the way to creating a memorable and compelling school brochure. Coupled with the text which adds the detail, you will have the structure to create your new school brochure.
Working with our on-site design studio we can help with things like fonts, layout, tone and style - all the things that create the ideal school brochure. And with our 100% eco-friendly printing and range of FSC® certified papers you can be assured that the eco box is already ticked!
For a great brochure we need your images supplied to us with a minimum resolution of 300ppi and in one of the following file formats - PDF, TIFF, EPS, AI, high-resolution JPEG. A high resolution will mean that your images are going to print clearly and with no fuzziness!
A good cost saving for brochures is to have the covers printed on the same paper as the text pages. This is called a self-cover brochure. If this is something that you would like to explore drop us an email with your requirements and we will send you a bespoke quote.
We cap these brochures at 500 as this is the quantity that we would switch from digital to litho printing. Litho printing is done with printing plates and ink and becomes cost effective for larger volumes. We regularly print up to10k brochure runs and have all the kit we need for this type of printing.
The finish would be much the same for printing on the coated silk papers, but would be a lot different for printing on the uncoated paper. Litho printing uses wet ink of which a percentage is absorbed in to the paper, so the result is softer and more subdued than digital printing on the same paper.
