ISO14001 - Environmental Management System

Our dedication to the environment was clearly shown in 2006 when we launched the UK’s first online eco-printing website. Our commitment remains just as strong today, with a focus on promoting and producing eco-friendly printing as a core part of our business.

Since 2008, our employees have naturally adhered to ISO14001 principles and policies, making environmental procedures a part of everyday life. Our products are sourced responsibly: all materials come from sustainable forests, our printing uses eco-toners or vegetable oil-based inks, our plate-making is chemical-free, and our presses operate without alcohol.

Our products are made of FSC®-certified and other controlled material

A Local Printer has FSC certification. The FSC certification shows a commitment to sourcing wood products from responsibly managed forests and supporting sustainable forest management practices. This means forests are managed in a way that minimises environmental impact, protects biodiversity, and promotes the renewal of the forest.  Only wood and pulp from FSC certified and managed forests can be used to make FSC certified paper which in turn is tracked from forest to print through the Chain of Custody system.
